    From September 11 - 13, 2024, Runshine New Materials (Foshan) Co., Ltd. actively participated in the Asia Pacific Coatings Show (APCS) held in Jakarta, Indonesia. This event, organized by the Asian Coatings Association, is a leading exhibition in the coatings industry across Southeast Asia and the Pacific Rim. With over 392 exhibitors and around 12,000 visitors, it provided an ideal platform for Runshine to showcase its innovative products. ​Runshine New Materials presented its star products - water-based polyurethane dispersion and waterborne acrylic resin, highlighting their applications and advantages in the coatings sector, especially in wood coatings and industrial coatings. ​   Water-Based Polyurethane Dispersion: Ideal for Wood and Industrial Coatings​ The water-based polyurethane dispersion exhibited remarkable features. In the wood coatings segment, it demonstrated excellent film-forming properties. When applied to wooden furniture and flooring, it formed a smooth, high-gloss, and durable film. This not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the wood but also provided outstanding scratch and abrasion resistance. For example, in a wear resistance test, furniture coated with Runshine's water-based polyurethane dispersion showed only minor surface scratches after 10,000 cycles of friction, far better than traditional coatings.​ Moreover, its adhesion to various wood substrates was extremely strong. Whether it was hardwood like oak or softwood like pine, the dispersion firmly adhered, preventing any peeling or flaking of the coating.
